Senator Magnus Ngei Abe is a Nigerian politician and lawyer with a distinguished career in public service.
He served as a Senator representing Rivers South-East Senatorial District for two terms (2011-2015 and 2016-2019).
Before his time in the Senate, he was a Minority Leader in the Rivers State House of Assembly (1999-2003), Commissioner for Information (2003-2007), and Secretary to the State Government (2007-2011) in Rivers State.
Known for his intellectual depth and advocacy, particularly for the Ogoni people and environmental justice, Senator Abe has been a significant voice in national politics and recently returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
