Peter Onyeluka Nwaoboshi, born in 1958, is a Nigerian politician and legal professional who served as a Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District from 2015 to 2023.
A graduate of Law from the University of Benin and with a Master of Laws from Delta State University, Nwaoboshi’s political career spans decades.
He served as a political adviser to former Governor James Ibori and as Commissioner for Agriculture and Special Duties in Delta State.
He also held the influential position of State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State for two terms before his election to the Senate.
While he transitioned to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2021, his political journey has been marked by both significant victories and legal challenges, demonstrating his enduring presence in Delta State politics.
