Zamfara APC praises President Tinubu for Sanusi Rikiji appointment as Director General of the Nigerian Office for Trade Negotiations, citing loyalty and trust
The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the Sanusi Rikiji appointment as Director General of the Nigerian Office for Trade Negotiations.

Rikiji, a former Speaker of the Zamfara State House of Assembly and one-time Commissioner of Finance, was recently appointed to the federal position.
In a statement on Tuesday, party spokesperson Yusuf Idris said the appointment showed the president’s continued trust and confidence in the people of Zamfara.
“This appointment reflects the president’s belief in our capacity and further strengthens Zamfara’s relevance in national development,” he said.
Idris added that the APC in Zamfara, under the leadership of Hon Tukur Umar Danfulani, remained fully committed to President Tinubu’s transformative policies.
“We congratulate Sanusi Rikiji on this important milestone. We urge him to remain a positive representative of Zamfara State at the national level,” Idris stated.
He expressed confidence that Rikiji would actively promote the renewed hope agenda and help reshape Nigeria’s trade sector through innovative and progressive strategies.
“During his time as Commissioner of Finance, the state witnessed significant economic growth, attracting foreign investment and improving revenue generation,” he said.
The statement also encouraged Rikiji to stay consistent in advancing ideas that support the president’s developmental priorities.
Zamfara APC thanked the president for recognising one of their own and assured Nigerians that Rikiji would live up to expectations in his new national role.
