APC backs Dalori’s appointment as acting National Chairman with a strong message of confidence and unity from the Zamfara State chapter.

In a statement released on Wednesday in Gusau, the party assured Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori of its unwavering support as he assumes the leadership role.
The Zamfara State chapter, under the leadership of Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani, praised Dalori’s appointment as a significant step toward strengthening the party’s structure nationwide.
The Publicity Secretary, Malam Yusuf Idris, stated that the entire party in the state stands firmly behind the new acting chairman.
“Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, under the focused leadership of Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani, wishes to join millions of Nigerians in felicitating with Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori over your newly added responsibility as the Acting National Chairman of our great party,” the statement read.
Idris emphasised that Dalori’s emergence is a clear reflection of trust and admiration from party stakeholders, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who also serves as the party’s national leader.
He added that this level of confidence is rooted in Dalori’s vast political experience and proven record of administrative competence.
“This is a testimony that the National Leader of the party, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party leaders, stalwarts, members, and, of course, our teeming supporters, have hope, respect, and confidence in you to pilot the affairs of the party to the promised land,” Idris said.
The party believes Dalori’s past roles—as State Chairman, Deputy National Chairman, and now Acting National Chairman—equip him to deliver a stable and revitalised APC.
They are optimistic that his leadership will align with the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by President Tinubu.
The statement continued, “We pray Allah to guide and protect you as you bring in your vast experience and hard work, generated over the years through the various offices you have competently held, to bear with new innovations tailored to move the APC to a more enviable position.”
Dalori’s leadership is seen not only as a continuation of organisational strength but also as an opportunity to re-energise the grassroots and consolidate party unity across the six geopolitical zones.
The chapter firmly believes that he will steer the party toward electoral victories and lasting internal reforms.
“Your experience in party administration will ensure that the APC witnesses a transformation that leads to the actualisation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda,” Idris added.
In a direct show of unity, the statement reiterated the collective backing of party structures in the state.
“On behalf of the state leaders, elders, State Working Committee (SWC), and party supporters at all levels, we have confidence in you to pilot the party to success during your leadership.”
The message concluded with a clear commitment: “Once again, sir, we wish to assure you of our unflinching support towards your success throughout this onerous task.”
As APC backs Dalori’s appointment, party watchers expect stability, strategic reforms, and increased efforts toward consolidating support ahead of future national elections.
