PDP Ogun State promises to overcome challenges and emerge united, stronger, and ready to lead Nigeria in the 2027 general election
PDP Ogun State has vowed to rise stronger and more united, overcoming current challenges to present a formidable front ahead of the 2027 general election.

The chieftain, Toyin Amuzu, confidently stated that the party will renew its strength and cohesion to liberate Nigerians from the hardships caused by the ruling party.
Addressing journalists in Abeokuta, Amuzu described the PDP as “an open market,” a noble institution committed to serving the collective good of the people.
He highlighted that the party’s survival is crucial for democracy and the liberation of Nigerians, insisting that those who truly believe in the PDP’s people-first ideology will remain steadfast.
“The PDP is not just a political party, it is a movement of people who believe in a better Nigeria,” Amuzu said.
He stressed the party’s commitment to service, justice, and the welfare of the masses as the foundation for its resilience.
Amuzu criticised the APC-led government for deepening Nigeria’s crisis, accusing it of delivering only hunger, insecurity, and hopelessness.
He insisted that the PDP remains the only credible alternative with clear policies and a proven track record to restore Nigerians’ faith in leadership.
Despite efforts by the ruling party to weaken the opposition, Amuzu urged members and Nigerians not to lose faith. He called for renewed unity, resilience, and trust in God to endure these difficult times.

“This is a decisive moment in our history,” he declared, urging Nigerians to choose hope over despair and unity over division. “Together, we will rebuild Nigeria and together, we will win.”
