Tinubu’s leadership qualities have once again come into the spotlight as the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) lauded the President for his decisive, compassionate, and focused approach to governance.

In a statement released on Friday in Lagos, the party’s spokesperson, Mr Seye Oladejo, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bold economic policies and responsive leadership amid Nigeria’s evolving challenges.
Oladejo said Tinubu’s courage to remove fuel subsidies on his first day in office marked a historic turning point.
While the move came with economic strain, it was backed by swift relief measures, including wage awards, cash transfers, and transit support — a testament to the president’s blend of decisiveness and empathy.
“What sets Tinubu’s leadership qualities apart is not only his boldness but his compassion,” Oladejo said.
“Whether responding to economic reforms or natural disasters, he has shown clear resolve and care for all Nigerians.”
He highlighted the Renewed Hope Agenda as a clear roadmap targeting food security, economic diversification, energy reforms, and national unity.
Agricultural expansion through dry-season farming and fertiliser subsidies are underway to ease inflationary pressures.
In infrastructure, Oladejo cited the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and rail projects as evidence of a transformative vision aimed at uniting regions and boosting commerce.
He noted Tinubu’s significant investments in port development, tech, and the creative sector as part of a broader push toward sustainable development.
On national security, the spokesman praised Tinubu for restructuring the armed forces and enhancing equipment capabilities, which he said have begun yielding results in curbing insurgency and banditry.
Internationally, Oladejo said Tinubu’s leadership qualities have elevated Nigeria’s standing through active diplomacy and billions in foreign investments across energy, agriculture, and technology sectors.
