PDP Anambra disciplinary committee formed to enforce discipline, investigate misconduct, and promote unity within the party in Anambra State
PDP Anambra disciplinary committee has been set up to tackle indiscipline and promote reconciliation, with the goal of reinforcing the party’s strength in the state.

The seven-member panel was inaugurated in Awka on Friday, with Chief Odili Ojukwu appointed as chairman and Mr Obinna Ogugua as secretary.
Other committee members include Deputy Chairman Mrs Uju Edochie, Mr Chris Maduagwu, Mr Nnamdi Nwangwu, Chief Casmir Ilechukwu, and Chief Okechukwu Ekemezie.
Mr Chidi Chidebe, chairman of PDP in Anambra, charged the committee with the vital responsibility of maintaining discipline and ensuring strict adherence to the party’s constitution, rules, and regulations.
He emphasised their role in investigating allegations of misconduct and anti-party activities that could tarnish the party’s image.
Chidebe explained that based on the committee’s findings, they could recommend sanctions such as reprimand, suspension, or expulsion, subject to approval by the State Working Committee (SWC).
He urged committee members to execute their duties with integrity, impartiality, confidentiality, and dedication to the PDP’s ideals.
The committee’s tenure will be determined by the State Executive Committee (SEC).
“The SEC of the PDP in Anambra, in compliance with our constitution, has approved the constitution of the Anambra PDP disciplinary committee,” Chidebe said.

He concluded by congratulating the committee and expressing optimism that their efforts would strengthen discipline, unity, and internal democracy within PDP Anambra.
