Yilwatda made the declaration during an official ceremony in Jos welcoming Governor Caleb Mutfwang into the APC, describing the consolidation as a historic moment for the party in the state.
“Because you are an addition to me, you are an addition to the party. With the unity of the new generation, the time is now,” Yilwatda said.
“The gubernatorial candidates of Labour Party, PDP, PRP, and NNPP are now in APC. All the structures of these parties have collapsed into one political party more powerful, stronger, united, more intimidating, and more prepared.”
The APC chairman also pledged to ensure the victory of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections, asserting that the party would lead Plateau State toward justice, equity, and social inclusion.
“No religious difference, no tribal difference, no sentiments. We’re going to move Plateau State in one direction. That’s the motto of our party,” he added.
The consolidation marks a significant political shift in Plateau State, signalling the strengthening of the APC ahead of the next general elections.
