The PDP outrage was captured in a statement by National Publicity Secretary Ini Ememobong, who described the attack as a painful reminder of Nigeria’s worsening insecurity.
He commiserated with the families of the abducted students, the slain educator, the school community and the Kebbi State government, noting that the tragedy demanded serious reflection and decisive action.
Ememobong said the nation could not continue enduring such heartbreaking incidents. He insisted that government must take full responsibility for protecting citizens and move swiftly to dismantle the conditions that enable these crimes.
His remarks struck a powerful emotional chord, especially as he referenced similar recent abductions in Nasarawa, Plateau, Kano and Katsina.

He urged the Federal Government to devote urgent and adequate resources to restoring security, saying Nigeria does not need external threats before addressing the crisis. He added that the cycle of violence must end, stressing that the welfare of citizens should be prioritised above all else.
The PDP outrage also highlighted the broader national anxiety over recurring attacks on schools. Parents and community leaders across the region have continued to call for stronger protection for educational institutions, warning that fear is slowly eroding the right to learning.
