The event, organized by the Statewide Endorsement Committee, turned into a powerful political statement of support.

Governor Oyebanji, deeply moved by the turnout, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Ekiti State for their unwavering support over the past two and a half years.

In a statement issued Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, Oyebanji described the day as a “watershed moment” in the state’s political history. He affirmed his continued commitment to transformative governance.

“Our people have spoken loudly through this endorsement. I’m humbled by your confidence in me and Deputy Governor Monisade Afuye,” he said.

He extended special appreciation to President Tinubu for his backing and credited Tinubu’s economic policies for enabling Ekiti’s ongoing development.

Oyebanji also recognized the presence and roles of prominent political figures, including Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, and former governors Segun Oni, Ayodele Fayose, and Niyi Adebayo, as well as several National Assembly members and state legislators.
