The statement came as he joined the campaign trail of Dr Moses Paul, the ADC chairmanship aspirant for Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC).
Speaking in Apo Wasa, Atiku commended Dr Paul, popularly known as Dr Mo, as a relatable and trustworthy candidate who can lead the future of the municipal council.
He urged residents of the Federal Capital Territory to vote for all ADC candidates in the upcoming February 21 local council elections.
“Dr Mo is the kind of Nigerian young people in Abuja can relate to and trust with the future of the Municipal Council. I encourage FCT voters, including those in AMAC, to vote for all ADC candidates in these elections. This would be the first step towards ousting the failed APC government,” Atiku said in a statement.
The former vice president described ADC as the surest avenue for national renewal, noting that support for Dr Paul and AMAC represents a strategic first step toward transforming governance in Nigeria.
