Senator Ipinsagba debunks rumours of APC automatic ticket 2027, confirms no official decision has been made on lawmakers’ re-election bids at any level
APC automatic ticket 2027 claims have been dismissed by Senator Jide Ipinsagba, who represents Ondo North Senatorial District.

Speaking to journalists in Akure on Monday, Ipinsagba called the reports “mere rumours” and said no such agreement exists within the ruling party.
“As a procedural person, anything that is not written, I don’t believe in it,” he stated.
Refuting the idea that APC lawmakers were guaranteed automatic tickets in 2027, Ipinsagba said, “There is no place where such a decision was taken.”
The senator, who chairs the Senate Committee on Public Procurement, reaffirmed his commitment to his constituents, citing progress in education, healthcare, and infrastructure, and expressed optimism about the passage of his bill for an ICT University in Ikare-Akoko.
On federal roads, Ipinsagba promised continued engagement with agencies for urgent repairs across Ondo North.

He also weighed in on the proposed Ose State creation bill, saying the process was still in early stages and would be thoroughly debated in the Senate.
