The Senator Adeola Campaign Headquarters, located in the Ibara area of Abeokuta, was officially unveiled on Sunday, July 12.

The facility is expected to serve as the campaign’s operational hub, coordinating strategy, stakeholder engagement, volunteer activities and other election-related operations.

Speaking during the commissioning, Senator Adeola said the project symbolised more than a physical structure, describing it as a reflection of his vision for an inclusive administration focused on fairness, equity and development across Ogun State.

“This campaign headquarters is more than a building; it represents our shared vision for a greater Ogun State. We have built it as a place where ideas will be nurtured, strategies developed, and every segment of our state will find a voice,” Senator Adeola said.

The lawmaker disclosed that construction of the facility began about two years ago, despite uncertainty at the time over securing the APC governorship ticket.

According to Senator Adeola, the decision reflected confidence in his political vision and commitment to the state’s future.

“By the grace of God and with the support of our people, we will build a government anchored on fairness, equity and justice. Every decision we take will be guided by the collective interest of the people, ensuring that no community, no zone and no citizen is left behind as we move Ogun State to the next level,” Senator Adeola added.

The campaign headquarters was commissioned by Chief Yemi Sanusi, Chairman of the Ogun State APC, alongside several traditional rulers, including the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, the Olu of Ilaro and Chairman of the Ogun State Traditional Council, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, and the Olubara of Ibara, Oba Jacob Omolade.

The ceremony drew a large gathering of political leaders, traditional rulers, religious figures and party supporters from across Ogun State. Among those in attendance were APC Deputy Governorship Candidate Alhaja Kudirat Adegunwa-Balogun, former Deputy Governors Senator Gbenga Kaka, Alhaja Salmot Badru and Prince Segun Adesegun, as well as Pastor Tokunbo Talabi, Secretary to the Ogun State Government, who represented Governor Dapo Abiodun.

Also present were Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Daisi Elemide, former Speakers Tunji Egbetokun, Suraj Adekunbi and Olakunle Oluomo, former senators, religious leaders and other serving and former public office holders.

The commissioning comes as political activities begin to intensify ahead of the 2027 Ogun governorship election.

While the APC has yet to conclude all internal processes connected to the election cycle, aspirants and political stakeholders have increasingly stepped up consultations, grassroots mobilisation and organisational preparations in anticipation of the contest.
