Ekiti federal road rehabilitation earns praise from Governor Oyebanji, who commends the FG’s support and assures residents of more road project progress
Ekiti federal road rehabilitation efforts have been applauded by Governor Biodun Oyebanji, who commended the Federal Government for acting on the concerns of residents by starting work on three key roadways in the state.

Speaking at the 40th anniversary of Sheikh Jamiu Kewulere Bello as Chief Imam of Ado-Ekiti, Oyebanji revealed that one additional federal road is also being handled by the state government to ease travel for commuters.
A statement from his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, emphasized the governor’s gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for supporting Ekiti’s infrastructure needs, noting that construction on two remaining roads would commence shortly, while the Ado–Ikere–Akure road nears completion.
He also gave updates on the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Airport, confirming that it is awaiting final approval for commercial flights following a six-month clearance for non-scheduled operations.

Governor Oyebanji used the occasion to celebrate Sheikh Bello, lauding him as a “good ambassador” of both Ekiti and the Muslim faith, and extended warm appreciation to both Muslim and Christian communities for their unity and support in the state.
