The Focus Keyword, Village Boys Movement two-million-man march, reflects the central thrust of the initiative, which the group says is aimed at galvanising public support and reinforcing its political alignment with the ADC.
In a statement issued on Friday, the group’s Headmaster, Maazi Tochukwu Ezeoke, outlined that the mobilisation would begin with a first phase scheduled for March 28, 2026.
The initial phase is expected to take place simultaneously across multiple states, including Abia, Adamawa, Anambra, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Plateau, Jigawa, Kaduna, Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Enugu, Kogi and Edo.
According to the statement, the second phase of the mobilisation will extend to additional key regions such as Lagos, Abuja, Rivers, Delta, Kano and Imo, with specific dates to be announced at a later time.
The group indicated that the nationwide effort is designed to build momentum gradually while expanding its reach across geopolitical zones.
VBM described the planned march as a response to what it termed the growing demand for credible leadership in Nigeria, stating that citizens are increasingly organised and determined to influence the direction of the country’s democratic future.
The movement emphasised that its supporters are mobilising in large numbers to make their voices heard.
The group also positioned its campaign within the broader political landscape, referencing ongoing discussions among major political actors and parties regarding regional representation and power rotation.
It argued that the African Democratic Congress should align itself with principles of justice, equity and national progress in making future political decisions.
