This strong declaration came on Wednesday in Lafia, during his one day working visit to commission legacy projects in Nasarawa State, executed by Governor Abdullahi Sule.

Speaking at a town hall meeting with state stakeholders after commissioning the projects, President Tinubu urged attendees to disregard the coalition.

“Those who have triggered the politics with a coalition suddenly, let’s not pay them attention, they are political IDPs, don’t give them room, the hope is here, Sule is doing well,” the President stated.

He affirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting Governor Sule’s efforts towards the prosperity of Nasarawa State.

“We will support whatever Governor Sule brings about to work harder for the prosperity of Nasarawa State, this is what we stand for,” Tinubu said.

He then challenged his own political stance, adding, “I’m not here for political campaign, but who is a politician that will keep quite when gangsterism are coming with coalition to unseat themselves.”

This highlights his perceived obligation to speak out against perceived political threats.

President Tinubu commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for his significant strides across all sectors of the state’s economy.

He particularly noted advancements in agricultural mechanisation and improvements in rice harvests.

“I can see the mechanization efforts of the Governor, the improvement rolling in harvest of rice and many others, yes we will work with you to ensure values are added to your mineral resources,” the President assured.

“Don’t rely on solid minerals and forget Agriculture, we are going to make agriculture profitable and interesting for all of you the youths, the women, and we will empower you through small scale financing loan and opportunity for prosperity,” the President promised Governor Sule and the people of Nasarawa.

President Tinubu further assured the state’s residents that difficult times are passing and they will not regret voting for him.

He reiterated that Governor Abdullahi Sule has transformed the state and requires adequate support to succeed.

“I can see hardwork coming from Governor Abdullahi Sule, he is determined to use resources available to him to the benefits of Nasarawa State, Sule is doing well, Bola Tinubu is doing well too,” he affirmed.

Earlier in the event, Governor Abdullahi Sule expressed gratitude to the President for visiting Nasarawa State despite his tight schedule to commission what he described as legacy projects.

He informed the President that his administration initiated and completed all the projects without borrowing any funds.

This was possible due to increased state resources following the removal of fuel subsidy by the President’s administration.

Governor Sule lauded President Tinubu as a democrat, nationalist, and an inspirational leader from whom he intends to learn.

He also informed the President that the commissioned flyover and underpass in Lafia will be replicated in Akwanga and Keffi, with work on those projects already at an advanced stage.

He outlined his administration’s achievements and the rationale behind them, particularly highlighting the vocational and technical institute in Lafia, which trains individuals in various vocational areas.
