A coalition of young Nigerians, operating under the banner of the Renewed Hope Agenda Continuity Marshals (REHACMA), called for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 during a press conference in Abuja on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

National Coordinator Osawemwenhio Uwagboe stated that the “Renewed Hope Agenda” requires consistent leadership to ensure ongoing structural and economic reforms reach their full potential.
He emphasised that the scale of Nigeria’s challenges cannot be resolved within a single four-year term.
“The country must move forward, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu represents the experience, courage, and political capacity required to guide Nigeria through difficult reforms and long-term transformation,” Uwagboe said.
He added that REHACMA provides a platform for responsible young Nigerians prioritising effective governance over partisan allegiance.
North Central Coordinator Jerry Gwom highlighted recent fiscal reforms, including the floating of the Naira and the removal of the fuel subsidy, as evidence of the administration’s efforts to create opportunities for ordinary citizens.
“Previously, we had selective overnight billionaires who simply accessed dollars at the Central Bank,” Gwom said.
“Today, the market is open. Anybody can venture into that business and flourish.”
Fatima Lamisula, REHACMA’s Women Leader, noted that Nigeria’s long-standing challenges cannot be resolved overnight.
“Since we have seen visible changes in the three years he has been in power, we should give President Tinubu another chance for continuity to finish what he has started,” she said.
National Youth Leader Yusuf Ishaya, formerly of the ADC, reinforced the sentiment, urging Nigerians to support leadership that delivers tangible progress.
“He who sees progress should not sit by the side and wait to be told that it is progress,” Ishaya remarked.
