Tinubu 2027 Election Defeat Looms As APC Chieftain Backs Opposition Mega Alliance

APC chieftain Eze says President Tinubu will be defeated in 2027, praising Atiku, Obi, Amaechi, and others for forming a mega opposition alliance

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has declared that Tinubu 2027 election defeat is inevitable, urging the President to start preparing his return to Bourdillon after what he called “two years of disastrous leadership.”

Eze, a former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) and now member of the APC Legacy Media Team, made the statement on Monday in reaction to recent moves by key political figures to form a formidable opposition alliance ahead of the 2027 general election.

Among those he praised were former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate Peter Obi, former Transportation Minister Rotimi Amaechi, ex-Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, former Senate President David Mark, and Dr Umar Ardo.

Eze lauded their “patriotic initiative” to jointly rescue Nigeria from what he described as “a regime of ruin.”

According to him, the leaders’ involvement in the effort to register a new political platform, the All Democratic Alliance (ADA), represents a significant shift in Nigeria’s political trajectory.

The ADA’s application was submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) by its protem leaders, Chief Akin Ricketts and Abdullahi Elayo, acting on the mandate of the Nigerian National Coalition Group.

“May I therefore on behalf of myself and family congratulate Atiku Abubakar, Amaechi, Peter Obi, Umar Ardo, David Mark, Nasir El-Rufai and all others who have made this mission to salvage our dear nation possible,” Eze stated.

He went on to issue a scathing rebuke of the Tinubu administration, accusing it of economic mismanagement, deepening insecurity, and institutional decay.

Tinubu can start packing for Bourdillon. Nigeria will be rescued in 2027.

“President Tinubu can now start packing his luggages for his much-anticipated movement back to his Bourdillon home after all the colossal damage he has committed against our democracy and economy due to his abysmal performance within two years of stolen mandate,” Eze said.

He described Nigeria’s current condition as a national embarrassment and warned that the international community views the country as “a laughing stock.”

Eze continued, “We are under despots and anti-democratic forces who have plunged this nation into bloodletting, kidnapping, abject poverty, hunger and despair. Yet here we are, witnessing a new coalition of visionary, grassroots-oriented, and patriotic leaders determined to end this nightmare.”

The APC stalwart also lashed out at what he termed “the clueless, insensitive, and autocratic elite” currently in charge of the country’s affairs.

He concluded by calling the opposition alliance “an answered prayer” for Nigerians, promising that the 2027 election would mark a definitive turning point in Nigeria’s democratic journey.

As preparations for 2027 intensify, the emergence of ADA and the coalition behind it suggest the battle lines are already being drawn.

Whether the alliance can sustain momentum and translate vision into votes remains to be seen.

What is clear, however, is that dissent is growing even from within the ruling party — and it’s growing louder.
