The Stanley Osifo 2027 presidential ambition was announced in a statement made available to journalists, where the former 2019 presidential aspirant outlined a campaign agenda tagged “Metamorphosis 2027,” describing it as a grassroots-driven vision for national renewal.
Chief Stanley Osifo said his campaign would be officially launched from his ward in Oluku, Ovia North-East Local Government Area of Edo State, emphasising what he called a people-centred political approach.
“We are not joking this time around, we are buying the form,” Stanley Osifo declared, signalling a firm entry into the 2027 race.
He described himself as an international entrepreneur and public figure with a long-standing commitment to integrity and service, stating that his ambition was driven by patriotism and a desire to reposition Nigeria on the global stage.
The APC chieftain said his proposed administration would focus primarily on two core pillars: economic stability and national security, which he described as interdependent foundations for development.
“A secure society is the foundation for sound economic structuring,” he said.
Stanley Osifo also outlined wide-ranging plans covering poverty reduction, agriculture, education, healthcare, power, transport, mining, and technology, promising what he called “deliberate interventions” to improve citizens’ welfare.
On economic reform, he pledged to strengthen small businesses through development finance institutions, while also proposing industrial expansion, including revitalisation of steel production and the Ajaokuta Steel Company.
In agriculture, he said his administration would prioritise value chain development and agribusiness support, particularly for young people, while also addressing food insecurity and rising living costs.
Osifo further promised reforms in governance, saying his administration would strengthen democratic processes and ensure inclusiveness in leadership selection and decision-making.
On security, he advocated intelligence-driven strategies and regional collaboration, alongside targeted interventions for unemployment and vulnerable groups.
The APC aspirant also outlined plans for energy sector reform through decentralisation, improved power generation, and enhanced distribution systems, as well as infrastructure development through public-private partnerships.
He said technology would play a central role in his agenda, with plans to establish innovation hubs designed to drive entrepreneurship and digital growth, alongside increased investment in entertainment and sports as job creation tools.
Stanley Osifo concluded by calling for public support, expressing confidence that his proposed policies would deliver sustainable national development if implemented.
