On Tuesday, Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State visited President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, wearing a cap emblazoned with the president’s insignia.
Addressing journalists after the meeting, Soludo declared that his relationship with Tinubu goes back 22 years, adding that true friendships are not to be denied.
“These caps were produced even from the time the president visited Anambra State,” Soludo explained.
“Progressives are working together, and this is a call for all who believe in progressivism to unite in a massive coalition for the deepening of democracy, economic growth, and social development.”
He praised Tinubu’s bold economic and structural reforms, noting that while challenges remain, the direction is right and Nigeria must “stay the course.”

The governor emphasized that his support stems from both personal trust and alignment on governance principles. “Talk about Tinubu, I have no apologies about it,” he said firmly.
