Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa made the announcement less than 24 hours after administering the oath of office to the appointees.

The governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, released the official statement on Tuesday from Akure, confirming the full cabinet list and their respective ministries.

The newly appointed commissioners were tasked with aligning their work with the administration’s goals of transparency, service delivery, and effective governance.

The list is as follows:

He stressed that the welfare of the entire Ondo populace must guide their decisions and actions.

“This is a call to service, not celebration,” Aiyedatiwa declared. “We expect nothing less than dedication, integrity, and performance from each of you.”

He also addressed the associates and family members of the appointees with a firm message: avoid pressuring commissioners with demands.

“To your family members, friends, and associates, I offer congratulations and a word of caution,” the governor said.

“While we appreciate their support, they must not put the new appointees under undue pressure by soliciting unnecessary favours.”

Aiyedatiwa’s swift allocation of portfolios is seen as part of his broader effort to hit the ground running ahead of the 2025 governorship election.

His emphasis on transparency and public trust reflects the administration’s resolve to maintain governance momentum.

According to political observers, the choice of experienced professionals and strategic ministry assignments underscores the governor’s focus on infrastructure, youth empowerment, and economic revitalisation.

Already, the cabinet is expected to start work immediately, with directives to prioritise development projects, interface with stakeholders across the state, and build institutional confidence in governance.

As the Ondo governor assigns portfolios and reinforces discipline, residents await the first signs of delivery from the new team.
