The total comprises 57,598 online pre-registrations and 28,141 physical registrations.

The CVR exercise began on 18 August 2025 for online registration and 25 August for physical registration, concluding on 10 December.

Mrs. Saseyi announced that the second phase of the CVR will commence on 5 January 2026, allowing more eligible citizens to register.

She further stated that the updated voter register will be displayed at INEC offices across the state’s 20 local government areas from 15 December to 31 December.

The display enables citizens to verify personal information, report discrepancies, and flag ineligible or deceased registrants, in accordance with Section 19 of the Electoral Act 2022.
