The event, organised by the Arewa Political Awareness Movement (APAM), aimed to inform citizens about government achievements across key sectors.
APAM convener Jabir Usman described the platform as a civic engagement initiative to create informed citizens.
“Our democracy thrives when citizens are informed, conscious, and actively involved in governance. Leadership must be measured by impact, not rhetoric, and by results, not propaganda,” he said.
Usman highlighted the administration’s performance in education, healthcare, security, agriculture, infrastructure, and economic policies over the past two and a half years.
On education, he noted the National Education Loan Fund, which supports underprivileged students, and the new pension scheme for retired university professors, restoring dignity to the teaching profession.
New federal universities, including Kachia, Azare, Tsafe, and Funtua, were also established.
He praised the 3 Million Technical Talent Programme (3MTT), which equips youths with skills in AI, cloud computing, and data science.
In health, Usman highlighted the revamped National Emergency Medical Services, free ambulance services, and revitalisation of over 1,000 primary healthcare centres, with 5,500 more planned.
Health insurance coverage has increased from 16 million to 20 million Nigerians.
Agricultural reforms include a ₦130 billion National Agricultural Development Fund and the creation of the Ministry of Livestock Development, aimed at modernising ranching and reducing farmer-herder conflicts.
Security improvements under National Security Adviser Malam Nuhu Ribadu were also emphasised, including coordinated efforts among military, police, DSS, and vigilante groups, stabilising North-West communities and weakening extremist groups in the North-East.
Economic reforms noted include local government autonomy restoration and Central Bank policy adjustments stabilising borrowing costs and the foreign exchange market.
Infrastructure achievements include investments in off-grid electricity, compressed natural gas, and railway projects such as the Kaduna–Kano line.
Senior Adviser on NGO Matters to the Kaduna Deputy Governor, Alhaji Muktar Zubairu, urged youths to participate in governance, use empowerment schemes effectively, and hold leaders accountable.
