Between September 22 and 28, 2025, a total of 6,232,673 Nigerians completed the online pre-registration phase.

Of this number, 52.15 percent were female (3,250,338), while 47.85 percent were male (2,982,335).

The youth demographic, particularly those aged between 18 and 34, has led the charge, contributing 4,230,715 registrations during the week under review.

Additionally, students made up 1,565,824 of the total entries, highlighting a promising youth engagement in democratic processes. Persons with disabilities accounted for 137,865 registrations.

INEC further disclosed that 1,004,132 Nigerians successfully completed both online and physical registration within the same week.

This figure comprises 537,743 individuals who finalised their process online and 466,389 who did so physically at designated centres.

For the completed registrations in week five, female registrants numbered 555,077 (55.28 percent), while male registrants stood at 449,055 (44.72 percent).

Youths again dominated this segment with 742,379, and students represented 354,406 of the total.

The number of persons with disabilities who completed their registration during this period stood at 13,987.

These updated figures suggest a growing public interest and a renewed civic commitment among Nigerians, especially among young people and students, ahead of future elections.
