Uba Sani accepts APC campaign council role for Ekiti governorship election, pledging strong grassroots mobilisation for Biodun Oyebanji’s re-election
Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani on Wednesday formally accepted his appointment as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Campaign Council for the forthcoming Ekiti State governorship election, pledging full mobilisation for a decisive victory.

The appointment was announced following the inauguration of the campaign council by the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, in a statement issued on Wednesday.
Sani said the council would work closely with party leaders, stakeholders and supporters across Ekiti State to secure the re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
He expressed confidence in the party’s chances, citing what he described as Oyebanji’s performance in office and broad support within the APC structure.
“Our shared goal is to orchestrate a successful campaign that culminates in a resounding victory for Governor Biodun Oyebanji,” Sani said.
The governor noted that the APC already has established political structures across all 16 local government areas and 177 wards in Ekiti State, adding that youths, women and grassroots stakeholders would play a central role in the campaign strategy.
He described the existing structure as a strong foundation for the party’s mobilisation efforts ahead of the election.
Sani also expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his leadership, praising his commitment to national development and party cohesion.

He thanked the APC leadership for entrusting him with the role and assured that he would work closely with members of the campaign council to deliver victory for the party.
