Bola Tinubu champions Imo’s infrastructure progress with key project commissions and a book launch, highlighting Governor Uzodimma’s transformative legacy
President Bola Tinubu is set to visit Owerri, Imo State, on Tuesday, September 30, to commission several significant projects completed under Governor Hope Uzodimma’s leadership.

Bola Tinubu’s visit underscores a powerful collaboration between the Federal and State Governments, focused on infrastructure renewal and sustainable development.
According to Bayo Onanuga, the President’s special adviser on information and strategy, Bola Tinubu will also be the guest of honour at the launch of a book authored by Governor Uzodimma titled A Decade of Impactful Progressive Governance in Nigeria.
Among the projects to be commissioned are the Imo Concorde Hilton Hotel, the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre, the Asumpta Flyover, and the Imo Digital Learning Centre, a cutting-edge facility supporting modern education.
These developments highlight Governor Uzodimma’s commitment to modernisation, technology, and youth empowerment.
Initiatives such as the MylmoApp, Imo Digital City, and the SkillUplmo Techosphere platform have trained over 40,000 young people, equipping them with globally competitive digital skills.
The Orashi Free Trade Zone, attracting more than seven oil and gas firms, further reflects the shared vision between Bola Tinubu and Governor Uzodimma to boost industrialisation, investment, and job creation across Nigeria.
