The announcement was made during the inauguration of the Sapele chapter of the Okpe, Sapele, and Uvwie Federal Constituency (OSU).

Addressing thousands of party members at the Sapele Local Government Council Secretariat, Dafinone said the APC was not aiming for narrow wins but for massive support that would enhance the constituency’s political relevance.

“Sapele’s performance at the polls will determine the level of attention and development it attracts,” he added, stressing the importance of strong voter turnout.

The Senator called on party members to demonstrate unity and loyalty to both the state and federal governments, highlighting that sustained support for President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori was crucial for delivering the dividends of democracy to the grassroots.

Dafinone congratulated the newly inaugurated executives of the Sapele OSU chapter, assuring them of the backing of his office and urging them to mobilise voters across all wards.

The inauguration drew a large crowd, with supporters dressed predominantly in yellow and white, filling the council secretariat and surrounding areas.

Chief Solomon Ighrakpata, OSU Coordinator, said the structure, formed on April 4, 2025, was established to rally support for a performing government, uniting members across political and ethnic lines.
