Speaking on Politics Today on Channels Television, the Social Democratic Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Adewole Adebayo, said President Bola Tinubu should be grateful for ruling Nigeria for four years but must prepare for defeat if conditions do not improve.

“Before 2023, Tinubu was saying that if things don’t turn around positively, he should be voted out after four years. Now, I ask, are things in the right way now?” Adebayo said.

The SDP candidate argued that both the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are “the same company” working together, while Nigerians increasingly demand an alternative political direction.

According to him, citizens are tired of recycled leadership and are yearning for new ideas that can address deep-rooted economic hardships, insecurity, and governance failures.
