The party announced the decision in a statement issued on Wednesday by its state chairman, Wole Ademoyegun.

According to the statement, the suspension complies with INEC’s instruction to maintain the status quo pending the resolution of ongoing issues.

The party said all previously scheduled congresses have been put on hold immediately.

It added that the decision reflects respect for INEC as the constitutionally recognised electoral regulator.

The ADC urged members and stakeholders to remain calm and avoid actions that could breach the directive.

It also warned against unauthorised gatherings that could disrupt peace within the party.

The party said it remains committed to internal cohesion and due process in its activities.

It assured members that further updates will follow regulatory guidance.

The development comes amid ongoing internal disputes within the party at the national level.

The ADC has faced leadership tensions and legal issues affecting its structure and operations.
