Kano APC state congress committees formed to oversee March 3 election, ensuring transparency, security, and smooth party operations
The All Progressives Congress in KanoThe announcement came in a statement issued on Monday by Kano APC Spokesperson Ahmad Aruwa under the directive of outgoing State Chairman Prince Abdullahi Sunusi.

The committees are tasked with ensuring a transparent, credible, and well-coordinated congress, in line with party guidelines.
The Congress and Accreditation Committee is chaired by Rabi’u Bichi, with Muhammad Yusuf as Secretary.
Members include Baffa Babba, Butu-Butu, Hajiya Sa’adatu Algon, Ali Makoda, Abdullahi Rogo, Baffa Takai, Lamin Sani, Sani Ma’aruf, Sani Bala, Khalid Ishaq, Mannir Rimin Gado, and Hassan Hussain.
The Publicity Committee is led by Muhammad Garba as Chairman and Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa as Secretary.
Members include Lawan Hussaini, Jamilu Danbatta, Yusuf Sharada, Musa Liliyasu, Ghali Sadiq, Binta Spikin, Uba Dan Zainab, Ibrahim Yaro, and Ahmad Aruwa.
Security for the congress will be overseen by Col. Malami as Chairman, supported by Mustapha Bakwana, the Director-General of Special Services, CP Balarabe Musa, Group Captain Kura; Garba Sani Diso, and Air Commodore Yusha’u Sulaisu Tudun Wada.
Aruwa expressed confidence in the committees’ ability to deliver a peaceful and successful exercise.
“The leadership of the party is confident that the committees will discharge their responsibilities diligently and ensure a smooth congress,” he said.
He further urged party members and stakeholders to cooperate fully and act in a disciplined manner to preserve unity and progress within the party.

The Kano APC reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening internal democracy and consolidating party unity ahead of the state congress.
