The ruling, delivered on Wednesday, confirmed Jauro as the duly elected member of the Adamawa State House of Assembly.
The tribunal dismissed a petition lodged by the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Buba Mohammed Joda, which sought to overturn the results of the August 2025 by-election.
The tribunal found that the petition lacked sufficient evidence to nullify the declared outcome.
Jauro won the tightly contested election by a narrow margin, polling 15,923 votes against 15,794 for the PDP candidate.
The official results from the Independent National Electoral Commission indicated a margin of just 129 votes.
The tribunal ruling brings finality to the dispute, reinforcing the electoral process and underscoring the judiciary’s role in resolving election-related disagreements.
