Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, born March 10, 1962, in Egbe, Kogi State, is a Nigerian politician and engineer.
He obtained a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from Kwara State Polytechnic.
Before his senatorial career, Karimi served in the House of Representatives from 2011 to 2019, representing the Yagba East/Yagba West/Mopamuro constituency.
He is known for his commitment to integrity, fairness, and philanthropy, which contributed to his reelection as a federal lawmaker.
In June 2023, he assumed office as the Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, winning against the incumbent.
Currently, Senator Karimi is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Senate Services, reflecting his significant role in the legislative arm of government.
