He emphasised Tinubu’s courage in tackling issues many predecessors avoided, including the removal of the fuel subsidy—a move that has increased internally generated revenue and enabled reinvestment in vital sectors.
“The courage in dismantling economic distortions must now be matched by creativity and compassion in building a socially inclusive recovery,” Ogba noted, applauding the president’s prudent redirection of funds.
Ogba also pointed out the government’s achievements in healthcare, education, security, and port upgrades, describing Tinubu as a compassionate leader who has prioritised education through initiatives like the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, which has disbursed over N56 billion to students.
He further hailed Tinubu’s landmark decision to unify multiple exchange rates, boosting national revenue, and applauded the significant reduction in debt servicing from 97 to 68 percent.
On the security front, Ogba commended the administration’s efforts in neutralising Boko Haram threats, reflecting improved national stability.
