Pro-Tinubu group urges Nigerians to support Tinubu economic reforms for stability and progress ahead of the 2027 presidential election
The Global Alliance for Tinubu Campaign has urged Nigerians not to allow ongoing economic reforms to be disrupted by what it described as “unpatriotic politicians,” calling for continued support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The pro-government coalition said reforms introduced since Tinubu assumed office in May 2023 require continuity and should not be halted simply “for the sake of change.”
Prince Bevis Paul Igbinoba, Director General of the alliance, emphasised that the administration’s policy initiatives are gradually yielding results and must be given time to succeed.
Speaking at the group’s inaugural media briefing in Abuja on Wednesday, Igbinoba pledged to mobilise at least five million votes nationwide in support of Tinubu’s re-election.
He cited the removal of fuel subsidies, unification of the foreign exchange market, and increased crude oil production as key achievements of the administration.
The DG also highlighted social and economic initiatives, including a ₦1 trillion agricultural support programme, student loan schemes for indigent students, expansion of gas infrastructure, renewable energy projects, and youth employment and skills development programmes.
He pointed to federal road projects, notably the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway and the proposed Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway, as examples of the government’s commitment to national development.
Igbinoba acknowledged that challenges remain in both economic and security sectors but said Nigerians should allow the administration more time to consolidate reforms.
He argued that opposition is a normal part of democracy, but criticism should be accompanied by viable policy alternatives.
“The achievements of the administration are numerous, but the challenges remain significant. The current reforms across sectors must be allowed to mature and deliver results. We cannot afford to abandon them midway,” he said.
