Abia APC, under new chairman Chijioke Chukwu, pledges massive votes and support for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election
The Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reaffirmed its commitment to deliver massive votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election following the election of Hon. Chijioke Chukwu as the party’s new state chairman.

Hon. Benjamin Kalu, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives representing Bende Federal Constituency, declared at the APC state congress on Tuesday that the party in Abia is united and fully prepared for the 2027 contest.
“This is a new leaf in political party activities and administration. Abia APC has been returned to its owners. The party is healthier, stronger, and ready to win elections for Mr President,” Kalu said, emphasising that the South East has no alternative candidate to Tinubu.
Chukwu, formerly the Minority Leader of the Abia State House of Assembly, expressed gratitude to stakeholders and members for trusting him with the leadership role.
He promised an inclusive administration and pledged to grow the party’s membership to at least 500,000.
“My mission is ultimately to win elections for the party across all levels. The days of divisions and factions in Abia APC are over. There will be no victors and no vanquished.
We will work together to reposition our party and achieve greater victories,” Chukwu stated.

Both leaders credited President Tinubu for fostering peace and unity in the party, calling on members to remain loyal and disciplined as they prepare for the 2027 polls.
