Tinubu celebrates Gbajabiamila birthday with heartfelt praise, commending the Chief of Staff’s loyalty, legislative legacy, and contributions to national development as he marks another year today, June 25.

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Bola Tinubu extolled Olufemi Gbajabiamila’s decades-long dedication to Nigeria’s democratic growth, particularly his influential role in the legislature.
“The President encourages his Chief of Staff to continue supporting him in implementing the Renewed Hope Agenda to create a better, more economically viable, and more prosperous Nigeria,” the statement read.
Gbajabiamila, a trained lawyer, served as Speaker of the House of Representatives between 2019 and 2023.

His political career in the National Assembly spans two decades, having first been elected in 2003 to represent Surulere Constituency in Lagos State.
He went on to serve six consecutive terms and held the positions of both Minority and Majority Leader before assuming the speakership.
President Tinubu also highlighted Gbajabiamila’s unwavering dedication to the development of Lagos State, especially within his Surulere base, noting his grassroots appeal and impact-driven representation.
The President prayed for continued strength, sound health, and a long life for his Chief of Staff, describing him as a pillar of support in the current administration’s drive to deliver meaningful reforms across the country.
