Addressing the party via a post on X, O’tega Ogra questioned the platform’s credibility and the mechanisms for verifying registrants’ identities.
He highlighted that the administration has made it easier to validate user information through interconnection with the National Identity Management Commission.
“This administration is all about participative democracy but please do things right to prevent spurious claims of some being disenfranchised tomorrow,” O’tega Ogra wrote.
“The little things matter. If Nigerians can’t trust you to be thorough in little things like this, then what are we talking about?”
O’tega Ogra further alleged that the opposition party’s claims of millions of registered members had now come under public scrutiny due to technical flaws.
He described the rollout as a “system design error” for failing to include proper validation mechanisms.
The ADC had launched the digital membership platform on Sunday in line with provisions of the Electoral Act 2026, ahead of the 2027 general election.
Bolaji Abdullahi, the party’s spokesperson, had earlier promoted the initiative as a step to modernise party registration processes.

O’tega Ogra concluded by urging the ADC to maintain credible systems, emphasising that public confidence in political parties relies on attention to basic technical and administrative standards.
