FRSC appoints Adelaja Ogungbemi as Plateau Sector Commander, pledges to improve road safety
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has appointed Corps Commander Adelaja Ogungbemi as the new Sector Commander for Plateau State.

The command’s Public Education Officer, Peter Longsan, confirmed the appointment in a statement released on Thursday.
Commander Ogungbemi joined the FRSC in February 1994 and has served in various operational and administrative roles nationwide, including Unit Commander, Head of Operations, and Zonal Head of Administration and Human Resources at Zone RS2 Headquarters in Lagos.
A distinguished scholar, Ogungbemi holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and Education, a Master of Public Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, as well as a Master’s degree and PhD in Educational Management from the University of Ilorin.
Under his leadership, the FRSC in Plateau State will focus on protecting lives, reducing road crashes, and promoting responsible road use across the state.

The corps reaffirmed its commitment to road safety and public service.
