Egbedun made the appeal during a solidarity rally tagged “Walk to Win for Imole 2.0”, organised in support of Governor Ademola Adeleke.

Addressing a large crowd of supporters and residents, the Speaker emphasised that voter participation would play a decisive role in determining the outcome of the election across the state.

He encouraged eligible voters to come out in large numbers, stressing confidence in the governor’s popularity and performance.

“Come out and vote because your vote will count,” he said. “The massive crowd we are witnessing here today is a reflection of the overwhelming support Governor Ademola Adeleke enjoys in Odo Otin and across Osun State.”

Egbedun added that the turnout at the rally was evidence of growing support for Adeleke’s re-election bid, citing ongoing development projects as a key factor driving public backing.

“The people have seen good governance and are prepared to sustain it by voting massively on August 15,” he stated.

A party chieftain, Rasak Oyelami, also cautioned opposition members against actions that could trigger unrest during the campaign period, urging restraint and political maturity.

He noted that public reactions to alleged destruction of campaign materials reflected increasing support for the governor.
