The ceremony was led by the party’s National Leader, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, alongside National Chairman Senator Cleopas Moses Zuwogeh, National Secretary Barrister Ikenna Morgan Enekweizu, and other party officials and state chairmen.
Dickson described the digital platform as a major move to modernise operations and encourage broader political participation, both within Nigeria and among the diaspora.
“This platform will allow Nigerians to register as party members from any part of the country while ensuring proper documentation and effective management of membership records,” he said.
Highlighting the growing support for the NDC, Dickson said: “Nigerians are angry with the status quo. Nigerians are not only angry, they are also hungry, and they are hungry for change. The NDC is available as the tool for effecting the change Nigerians want.”
Although only weeks old, the party has already attracted significant attention nationwide.
Dickson emphasised that the NDC is a pan-Nigerian democratic movement and not a regional party, with experienced operatives coordinating activities across states, local government areas, and wards.
To ensure inclusiveness, the digital system will be complemented by manual registration forms, distributed through state, local government, and ward offices to assist citizens in rural areas who may lack digital access.
National Chairman Senator Zuwogeh added that the portal would promote transparency, accountability, and inclusiveness while enhancing grassroots mobilisation.
He encouraged Nigerians to register online at www.ndcnigeria.com to obtain membership cards and actively participate in the party’s activities.
Drawing a biblical analogy, Dickson likened the emergence of the NDC to Noah’s Ark, urging Nigerians to join early and align with the party for genuine political change.
“Those who can see the signs should come on board early,” he said.
