At a consultative management meeting in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday, the MD pledged renewed commitment to transforming Nigeria’s power-producing communities.

Sadiq-Yelwa described his reappointment as a call to deepen the commission’s positive impact, not just a personal honor.

He expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu, noting that the trust placed in him reflects both individual and collective achievements during his first tenure.

“We are not starting afresh. We are building on a strong foundation,” he affirmed, adding, “But now, we must do even more.”

Since inception, N-HYPPADEC’s transformation agenda has focused on delivering people-centered projects, amplifying the voices of neglected communities, and strengthening government presence.

The MD stressed that the new phase would not only continue these efforts but also emphasize institutional efficiency and accountability.

He warned against sabotage and internal rivalries, encouraging all staff to pursue unity and collaboration.

“In N-HYPPADEC, we reject destructive competition and embrace fruitful collaboration,” he said.

Sadiq-Yelwa committed to receiving briefings from all directorates, state offices, and units to chart a clearer path forward.

He also reiterated the need to make the commission a model of service delivery and a true catalyst for regional development.
