Lere Olayinka slams VDM over claims linking APC candidate Kingsley Chinda to alleged Abuja land grabbing controversy
Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has criticised social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan or VDM, over comments linking Rivers State APC governorship candidate Kingsley Chinda to alleged land grabbing in Abuja.

The controversy followed a video reposted by VDM on Friday in which the online critic revisited allegations made in December 2024 concerning a disputed estate in the Life Camp area of the Federal Capital Territory.
In the earlier footage, VDM accused Wike of allegedly revoking the property and reallocating it to associates and political allies, including Chinda.
Reacting to Chinda’s emergence as the APC governorship candidate for the 2027 Rivers State election, VDM questioned the development and expressed concerns about the political direction of the state.
Lere Olayinka hits out at VDM dispute intensified after Olayinka responded sharply on Facebook, dismissing the allegations and accusing the critic of spreading misinformation.
Olayinka claimed that facts had previously been presented showing that the land in question was never officially allocated to the individual making the ownership claim.
The media aide further alleged that VDM failed to apologise after the counterclaims emerged and instead moved on to other controversies.
