Arriving in Abuja for a three-day official engagement, the Colombian Vice President met with Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, to discuss strategic partnerships in trade, education, energy, and security.
“This visit signals the beginning of a fraternal alliance between our nations—one that promises bold economic ventures and deeper political cooperation,” Shettima stated during a gala dinner held in her honour at the Presidential Villa.
Francia Márquez was joined by her spouse Rafael Yerney Pinillo Ocoró, alongside key cabinet members and Colombian business leaders, signaling a serious intention to build enduring ties with Africa’s largest economy.
The visit also aims to:
