APC Kano leadership reaffirmed 60/40 formula as party praises unity and turnout, supporting Governor Abba Yusuf’s vision
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has reaffirmed the party’s 60/40 leadership sharing formula between defectors and existing members in Kano State.

The announcement was made in a statement by Governor Abba Yusuf’s spokesperson, Sanusi Dawakin-Tofa, on Monday.
Yilwatda made the remarks during a visit to Governor Yusuf, praising the unity and support demonstrated by APC members.
He described the turnout at the meeting as impressive and indicative of the party’s strength in Kano.
He commended key party figures, including Alhaji Yusuf Gawuna and Senator Barau Jibrin, for backing the governor’s vision, as well as Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje for his substantial contributions to the party’s growth.
Governor Yusuf expressed gratitude to the APC leadership for their visit and reiterated his commitment to promoting unity and prosperity in Kano, aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
