2027: Atiku Launches Portal for Direct Talks With Nigerians

Atiku launches portal called Ask AA to answer Nigerians’ questions about his political record, economic plans, security and the 2027 election

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has launched a new online platform to enable Nigerians to ask him questions about his political record and plans for the country ahead of the 2027 general election.

Atiku’s media aide, Phrank Shaibu, announced the initiative in a statement on Thursday, October 15, 2026, saying the platform, tagged Ask AA, was scheduled to go live at 8:30 pm.

The portal is designed to provide a direct channel through which Nigerians can seek answers from the opposition figure on issues affecting the country and its citizens.

According to Shaibu, users will be able to submit questions on a range of subjects, including the economy, security, employment, technology and the rising cost of living.

He said the initiative would also allow Nigerians to ask about Atiku’s plans for national development and how he intends to address the country’s challenges.

“The objective of this initiative is to bring Atiku Abubakar closer to the electorate through a practical, problem-solving platform,” Shaibu said.

He explained that the platform was intended to make the former vice-president more accessible to the public and encourage discussions focused on solutions to Nigeria’s problems.

The initiative comes as political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general election, with politicians and parties seeking to promote their programmes and build support among voters.
