The state chapter said the appointments came with responsibilities that require dedication, mutual respect and cooperation among members of the campaign council.
In a statement, the party emphasised the need for appointees to work harmoniously within the approved structure and remain focused on its vision for Rivers State.
“Every appointment carries a responsibility to serve with dedication, discipline, integrity, mutual respect and accountability,” the statement said.
The Rivers State ADC chairman, Dimkpa, said the complete membership of the campaign council’s 12 directorates would be published separately.
According to the statement, the party will announce two directorates daily, beginning on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
Members whose names were not included in the initial leadership announcement were advised to await the publication of their respective directorates.
The party said the phased announcement was intended to provide further details about the council’s structure and the individuals assigned to its various departments.
Dimkpa called on all appointees to approach their responsibilities as a call to service and cooperate with other members to advance the party’s objectives.
He also urged party members and campaign council officials to remain committed to the shared goal of building a better future for Rivers State.
The statement called on members to embrace teamwork and operate within the approved campaign council framework.
The report also identified Uchendu, a former Pro-Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, as an ally of former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, who is associated with the ADC and has been identified as a vice-presidential candidate of the party.
The development comes as political parties and their supporters continue to organise structures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
