Akpabio made the declaration during a consultation meeting with critical stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held at the Government House in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

The Akpabio Tinubu re-election pledge came during Governor Umo Eno’s consultation with party members on his return bid to the Government House in the 2027 elections.

According to a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Jackson Udom, Akpabio described Governor Umo Eno as a peaceful and inclusive leader with strong grassroots support.

He said the governor’s leadership style and developmental strides had strengthened confidence within the state and positioned Akwa Ibom for greater political alignment.

Akpabio noted that ongoing infrastructure projects and governance delivery across the state reflected a government committed to progress and service.

He also commended the commencement of international flights at the Victor Attah International Airport, describing it as a major achievement for the state.

The Senate President further stated that Akwa Ibom people remained grateful to President Tinubu for supporting one of their own to the position of Senate President.
