APC Chair Predicts Strong 2027 Victory Amid Rising Support

APC 2027 victory projection gains momentum as party chair cites rising national support for Tinubu’s policies

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, on Sunday in Abuja projected a strong 2027 election victory for the ruling party, anchoring his APC 2027 victory projection on what he described as growing national acceptance of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Prof Yilwatda issued the projection while receiving the leadership of Women Leaders Support Advancement, a political advocacy organisation pushing for expanded inclusion of women in governance.

His remarks came as the APC intensifies internal consultations ahead of its National Caucus and National Executive Committee meetings now scheduled for 18 and 19 December at the Presidential Villa.

He said the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu had broadened political participation for women and young people.

He added that the administration’s policies had become increasingly aligned with public expectations for inclusive leadership.

Prof Yilwatda urged Nigerian women to remain firm in their support for the President, describing them as central to the APC’s grassroots structure.

He noted that their mobilisation strength remained a powerful force in shaping national politics.

The matron and co-founder of the visiting group, Dr Martina Yilwatda, called on members to reinforce their presence across communities and deepen engagement with women and youths.

She said the organisation must be visible in homes, markets and neighbourhoods to strengthen political participation.

The founder of the group, Deborah Hornecker, accompanied by the secretary, Zainab Musa, expressed appreciation to the APC leadership for its support. She pledged that the organisation would mobilise women nationwide to bolster the party’s chances in the 2027 elections.
