Speaking at a ceremony marking his 69th birthday held at his Miller Road residence in Kano, the governor dismissed claims of division between him and the former governor, describing such reports as fabrications spread by detractors.

“No enemy, whether from outside or within, can come between us. They are liars,” Governor Abba Yusuf stated firmly.

“Our leader, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, myself, the NNPP government in the state, and all members of the Kwankwasiyya family remain united and strong, despite the evil machinations of those who wish to see us divided.”

He praised Senator Kwankwaso as a visionary, God-fearing leader devoted to the welfare and development of Kano and Nigeria as a whole. “Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is gifted and has great foresight.

God has blessed us with a selfless leader in him — a man who truly loves the people and works tirelessly for their progress,” Yusuf said.

Reaffirming his loyalty, the Governor Abba Yusuf pledged to continue steering the affairs of the state in line with the Kwankwasiyya principles of service, transparency, and empowerment.

He noted that the ideology remains a guiding force for inclusive governance and the upliftment of ordinary citizens.
