In a statement signed by Chairman Maduagwu Eric-Kenny and Secretary Chamberlain Egoh, the youths described recent comments made by some political figures as unfounded attacks.
They accused these politicians of biting the hand that once fed them, noting that many had benefitted from Peter Obi’s political support and generosity, yet now resort to mockery while campaigning in Agulu.
“Peter Obi is not just a political leader — he’s a national figure and a global voice,” the statement read. “We won’t tolerate any attempt to belittle his image.”
The group warned that any politician who visits Agulu must refrain from disparaging remarks, or risk facing “organised, peaceful, but firm resistance” from the youth.
